| Scouting in the
second-largest county in England is very much alive and well, as the results
of the 2010 Scout Association census shows! The total number of people
involved in Scouting on 31st January 2010 (including; Network, Explorers, Scouts,
Cubs, Beavers) was 5966 representing a 5.4% increase on the
previous year, and giving Lincolnshire the second highest percentage
increase in membership in the UK!

= 307 members (5966 from 5659 in 2009). – overall increase of 5.4%.
- Lincolnshire membership has increased by
almost 1/5th since centenary (2007).
- Lincolnshire had the 2nd largest
percentage increase in total membership in the UK.
- Increase in teenage growth 2001-2010 -
16.8% (13-18 year olds) / 4% increase in the past 12 months.
- 7.1% growth in females from 2009-2010.
- Waiting lists down by 19.3% from 362 to
292.
