Formal leader training is very flexible, and is based on a modular scheme, which is adapted depending on the role being applied for. Training can be completed as quickly or as slowly as necessary, with the option to spread it over up to three years. Ordinarily though training takes between 12 and 18 months, however with the introduction of "bulk" training weekends, some leaders have qualified in only a matter of months!
